At approximately 9:40 am, Rescue Squad 13, Engine 131, FA3, FARS3, Medic 759, FAM 2331, crews from Williamsport, Longmeadow, DES, Hazmat 20, Rehab 255, MSP, MSP Trooper 5 and CRS responded to a personal injury collision on I-81 south at the 10 mile marker. Upon arrival, crews came upon a multi vehicle crash and Deputy Chief 13 had command of the scene. There were 4 tractor trailers and 2 passenger vehicles involved. Crews had 4 heavily entrapped patients for extraction, 1 patient was flown to Shock trauma,  multiple patients were taken to Meritus Medical Center and there were 2 patients who were deceased upon arrival.  Once the final extrications were completed, the scene was turned over to MSP at approximately 1:39 pm for further investigation. A total of 73 emergency responders were on scene  to assist with this accident.
