On Friday May 27, Maugansville Fire Company held their first ever golf tournament to the delight of 93 players. The tournament was held at Black Rock Golf Course and started with a traditional shotgun start. Teams went to their starting holes and play lasted till around 11 AM when a storm passed overhead prompting a delay of about 45 minutes. Once the rains stopped, the players took to the course to finish the match. The teams then ate Pizza buffet provided by Fireside Pizza. The day concluded with the winners being given their prizes. Maugansville Fire Company would like to thank Hole Sponsors, Players, Black Rock Golf Course Staff and Fireside Pizza for a great first time ever.
