I am the current President of Maugansville Fire Company and a 41-year member of our organization. I have worked for the Washington County Government for 33 years and I am currently the Airport Director at Hagerstown Regional Airport. I live with my wife Jeannie, two Granddaughters, Madison and Ashtyn, and three Golden Retrievers, Cami, Bella and Kai.

During my tenure I have served as Lieutenant, Captain, Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief, I also served as Chief for 20 years. Additionally I have served as a fire apparatus operator for the past 38 years. I am also a nationally Certified Firefighter III, Fire Officer IV, Airport Firefighter, Instructor III, Rescue Technician, Fire Inspector I and many other various certifications through the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute and other training institutions.

My Grandfather, Bill Brewer, was a charter member of the fire company. His entire immediate family was involved with the fire company at some point in time. My Mother and Grandmother were very active Auxiliary members, and my Brother and Father were both lifetime members until their passing. Currently, my wife, granddaughter Madison, niece Heather, and Sister-in-Law Nancy are all members of the fire company.
