Tonight Maugansville Engine 132 assisted Long Meadow fire department on a working House Fire. When firefighters arrived heavy smoke and fire was showing from the 2nd floor. Long Meadow Company 27 along with Maugansville, Hagerstown Engine 2 Leitersburg Co 9 , Hazmat 20, Community Rescue 754, Medic 759 , Greencastle Squad 3. The first arriving firefighters from Long Meadow made an aggressive attack and as other firefighters arrived crews worked and contained the fire. A great job by all companies involved and a big thank you to our mutual aid brothers and sisters for covering our area while we were out.
